Schafer Group works with individuals and organisations navigating periods of personal and professional change.

We support people at points where familiar ways of thinking or working no longer feel right, and where clarity, direction, or confidence in decision-making feels harder to access. Much of our work sits at the intersection of work, identity and psychology.

Our practice focuses on leadership development, career transitions and supporting people through complex decisions and sustained pressure. We also work with organisations to support leaders and employees through change, capability development and key transition points, including mothers returning to work after parental leave.

Our approach is reflective, psychologically informed and practical. It is shaped by over 25 years of experience in organisational psychology, leadership and coaching across a range of large and complex Australian organisations including ANZ, Australian Unity, Open Universities Australia, Hudson, ME Bank, Officeworks, ASG, PEXA, Department of Justice, PPC Worldwide and Myer.

Alongside this professional experience, we bring an appreciation of the personal realities of transition and change. We work in a way that allows space for sense-making, while remaining focused on helping people move forward in ways that are considered and sustainable.
